Bernard Lee, BA, MA, DipEd
Bernard has more than 25 years of teaching and training experience. He has taught at various institutions and conducted training workshops in the USA, Canada, Singapore, Australia, China, Malaysia and the Philippines. His expertise includes leadership and motivational training, cross-cultural intelligence development, public speaking and presentations, spoken English competence training for speakers of other languages and teacher-training for English language teaching. Bernard holds an MA in English Language, a post-graduate Diploma in Education, and a specialist Instructor’s Certificate in the Principles and Methods of Teaching Spoken English. Bernard is also a certified administrator and trainer for the MBTI and DISC instruments.

Charles Ritchie,
BSc, BEng, MSc

UCSI Ventures Inc.’s managing partner brings to bear 25+ years of experience in entrepreneurship, international management, organizational development, teaching, consulting and training. He makes his residence in Danang as he oversees the development of UCSI’s investments in Vietnam. Mr. Ritchie is an overseas Vietnamese with Canadian citizenship and was educated in Canada.

Dan Lé, CertTESOL, DipTESOL, BA Hons., PhD

Dan Lé is a published author who has more than ten years of experience in ESOL training and more than five years of tutoring university and post-graduate students. Having taught at language schools in London, Bournemouth (UK), Wisla (Poland) and a university level Distant Learning Department in London, Dan’s expertise includes research, academic writing and ESOL teaching. Dan holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Diploma in TESOL, and enjoys the work of an English Lecturer. At the same time he takes pleasure in being a professional Legal and Medical Interpreter for international language agencies in the UK and the US.

Elizabeth (Betty) Ritchie, BSc, BEd, Med

Betty has 25 years teaching, training and mentoring experience. She has a BSc, a BEd, and an MEd, all from Canadian universities. She has taught children, young people and adults throughout her career in Canada and Vietnam. She has also supervised and trained teachers and teacher assistants in her various positions and been on many school leadership/ administrative teams. She also worked for several years as a family therapist in a counselling center in Canada. Currently, she teaches English to both children and adults and oversees testing in UCSI.

Jennifer Ruth Stebbins,

Jennifer R. Stebbins loves living in Vietnam and has lived here more than 20 years. Fluent in Vietnamese, she is a native speaker of English and had taught it to adults, teens and children. Additionally, she has taught English for Hospitality and Customer Service. Her clients include Sandy Beach Resort, Hoi An Beach Resort and Furama Resort, Danang. Jennifer earned her BA in sociology at Asbury College in Kentucky, USA and her CELTA certificate from Cambridge University, England while studying in Denver, Colorado. While working in the US she served as Executive Director and Development Director in many non-profit, social service organizations before moving back to Vietnam in 2007.
